Where did you get all those amazing illustrated Doctor Who posters?!
Some are from red bubble or comic cons and some are just pictures that I’ve slapped onto posterburner.com bc I really wanted them on my wall 😎

For the WIP ask meme: 13, 17, 20? Have a good day!
13: Your characters are stranded on a deserted island. What happens?
Thirteen and Yaz on a deserted island… wouldn’t last very long, the Doctor would make a boat out of pinestraw and her left shoe and get them the hell out of there.
If you replace deserted island with “space ba sing se” so it’s more in context: lots of bad decisions and painful confrontations
17: Does your WIP have any themes or motifs?
So initially I was gonna be basing each chapter off a famous philosopher quote, given how this fic is a deeeeep dive into the Doctor’s moral compass. I’ve kind of let that plan slide, but the theme of this fic is still down to choices and what it means to be “good”. The Doctor gets put in a bunch of situations where there is no perfect outcome, but she tries for one anyways, and has to deal with the consequences of coming up short.
20: Post a brief excerpt
“I promise you,” The Doctor repeats after a pause and breath, even as Yaz casts a warning glance her way because she knows, she’s seen, promises can’t always be fulfilled, but perhaps, just perhaps, that law can be rewritten. That subconscious tool she usually keeps with her – the one that learns from her victories and losses and transcribes them into rules carved in stone, seems to be missing. Or broken. But she’s got a bucket of cement. “I will find a way to keep all of you safe.”

Hi! I don’t know if you’ve ever mentioned it, but I was just curious, since Doctor Who has so many eras and episodes it doesn’t seem like the sort of show you have a favourite episode of. Still, if you don’t mind, what would you say is your favourite episode?
Oh god you’re right it’s so hard to pin down a favorite. S10 is hands down my favorite series so I’d go with the entirety of World Enough and Time/The Doctor Falls/Twice Upon a Time. I thought the story front to back was perfectly emotionally charged and a well rounded ending for my favorite doctor. TUAT had its downsides but over all, I’d consider those to be my favorites!!

2 and 8?
2. What do you do to understand the characters better and get into their head space?
Watch an episode from whatever era I’m writing, usually! I’ve been writing the Doctor for years so I have my own understanding of their character that I use in my writing, but when I’m struggling with little characteristics or bits of dialogue I’ll either watch an episode or a fanedit on Youtube to kickstart myself.
8. What are three things you’re proudest of when it comes to your writing? Dialogue, descriptions, humour, romantic fluff, kisses, action, pacing, worldbuilding, setting, anything! Even small things like sentence structures and the way your characters banter counts!
Three things, yikes. I guess my characterization, because I feel like I have a good understanding of my favorite characters and the dialogue I come up with usually feels ic enough for me to really like it. I’m also (of course) the biggest fan of all my own headcanons, and there’s something especially fun and feel good about working your own interpretations in your own writing.
For the third, uhhh, I’ve been told I have good pacing in my multichapters. (I’ve perhaps been told that one too many times and now everything I write I’m like oh god, what if the pacing SUCKS) but I’m usually good about spending time on the right topics and speeding through certain others so that stories don’t feel like they run on, but also don’t jump around too quick.

Just a lurker here saying I would love sheet music, especially for your Whittaker!Master theme because I Wanna Learn It
okay cool!!! i’m gonna give it my best shot, i’ve never finished sheet music before just because it’s so tedious lmao, but i’ve got a lot of time on my hands right now. If anyone has suggestions for a good app for writing sheet music let me know because i broke my laptop 😅

if you still want prompts I had this wild dream the other night where thirteen and the fam were running down a hallway (presumably trying to escape the building, I'm pretty sure they were being chased by someone although it might've been on fire) and the ceiling caved in and something hit the doctor real hard in the head and knocked her out, so the others had to save her and then I woke up
BET
