Doctor Who Series 11 - ALL SONGS | Piano Arrangement ((Re-uploaded with titles))


I immediately fell in love with Segun Akinola’s style and was quick to obsess over picking out all his DW pieces on piano. If I were to play each track full length this video would be over 2 hours long, so instead I selected a section from each and put it all together. (NOTE: I realized after 5 months practicing and 2 hours of frustrating filming that I completely forgot about track #27, “Fishing Take Down”. I’ve already accepted the fact that I’ve finished this project so I might not go back and fix it)

ALSO! I can play almost every song full length individually, so if there are any specific requests for songs I should post on their own then throw them my way. If I don’t know the full version, I’ll learn it.

i’m slowly but surely learning a portion of every song from the s11 soundtrack and putting it all together, but in the meantime here’s a section from “my beautiful ghost monument”

i messed up AND accidentally left out a chunk in the middle but i didn’t feel like re-recording

i’ve always played really fast just because i love fast songs. when i used to take piano lessons my teacher would always have to get onto me about it because i would play songs wayyy faster than they’re meant to be played, practice them too fast, and then eventually ONLY be able to play it that fast bc if i tried to slow it down i would mess up too much

i can’t play that fast anymore because when i moved out of my parents house i didn’t get to take my piano, and i have a keyboard but the keys have zero resistance. when i try to play fast my fingers trip over each other lol.

if you want to play faster though just be sure your technique is really good and strong, and don’t try to speed up a song until you can play it perfectly at normal/slow speed. (i need to take my own advice there tbh) but if the notes aren’t engrained in your muscle memory and if your technique isn’t strong then it’ll be a lot harder to go fast without messing up

asks anonymous piano like for example i dont know if you saw my post with that beethoven song i played but i cant play it anymore because of my keyboard i would try to play it as fast on my keyboard as i would on my piano and it would notttt work out

alright, to anyone who has listened to thirteen’s theme enough to know it well/to anyone who’s willing to listen to it and this then compare, i need a hand. i’m about halfway done and i’m really focusing on this first half before i move on because i want it to be to the best of my ability. if anything sounds wrong note wise or if i should change the style of any sections, please let me know!! if you think it sounds fine let me know as well because i’m excited to do the second half

i’m learning thirteen’s theme in sections that i’ll piece together later (this is still unfinished and needs a lot of changes that i’m struggling to figure out so far) and when i film and post the full thing it’ll be on the piano at my parents house that doesn’t make clicking noises when i play lmao

piano it sounds wrong specifically in two places and im yet to figure out whats wrong the end result will sound way better bc at this point i only have chords figured out and im trying to find which variations go best this ones alright but it can and will be better
