Youtube took down my cover of the Spymaster theme so here it is again for anyone looking :)

Here’s a rough version of The Master’s Theme by Segun Akinola that I’ll be refilming on an actual piano once I get the chance. (rough as in I mess up like 5 times, and don’t even talk to me about that chunk at 1:50, i promise it sounds good when my wrists aren’t stiff as hell)

A collection of current theories on Dhawan!Master

1. He comes in between Simm and Gomez. Missy’s line in Dark Water of “The one you abandoned, Doctor. The one you left for dead.” could be referencing something besides the events of The End of Time

2. The line “Everything that you think you know is a lie.” could be referring to the Master post-redemption arc in fact still being on the Doctor’s side, despite appearances.

3. Or the opposite. It could mean that the Master never really was going to stand with the Doctor in the first place and now this is his chance to mock the her for thinking it would actually happen. (but i don’t buy that)

4. The regeneration from Gomez to Dhawan erased all of the progress twelve made with Missy. I would cry, but it would make sense. The drive to give the Doctor absolute hell and bring the world to its knees once again grounding him to his place as a villain

5. This isn’t, in fact, the Master, and we’re gonna be hit with a major double plot twist that will end us all. This was personally my first thought, because something about him is just off, but Dhawan’s performance seems too spot on for it to be that simple. We definitely aren’t meant to be able to figure it out yet, but something’s amiss.
